The Dwyer Family


Phil Dwyer
Phil is a former league baseball player that grew up in Forks, WA. He spent a great deal of his career playing with the Seattle Mariners, but was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks midseason 1996.  He retired in 1999 and is currently the hitting coach for the Diamondbacks.  He has been married to Renee Higganbotham Swan since 1991.  He has one stepdaughter, Isabella, whom he refers to as Izzy.










Renee Higganbotham Swan Dwyer
Renee grew up Forks, WA and moved to Chicago to attend the University of Chicago.  She later married Charles Swan, Jr. and had one daughter, Isabella (Bella).  She was widowed in 1990 after Charlie was killed in a boating accident.  She moved herself and her daughter back to Washington after the death and began dating long-time friend Phil Dwyer.  They were married in 1991.  She currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.


Isabella (Bella) 
Swan-Black
Isabella was born in Chicago, IL in September of 1979.  She moved back to Forks, WA at the age of ten.  Bella graduated high school and moved back to Chicago to attend Northwestern University, where she double majored in Sports Management and Accounting.  Bella was married to long-time friend, Jacob Black in 2004, but was widowed only six months later when he passed from complications of Marfan Syndrome.  She is an heir of the Chicago Cubs dynasty and took over co-ownership of the team in 2006.  Isabella has one daughter, Mackenzie Marie, that she gave up for adoption in 1999.







Marcus Dwyer
Marcus is the youngest brother of Phil.  They are separated by a twelve year age difference.  He also grew up in Forks, WA, and currently resides in Sacramento, CA working as a Clinical Psychologist that deals mainly with relationships and family counseling.
