Charles Swan, Sr.Long time owner of the Chicago Cubs franchise. Generous family man, but a shark-type personality in business. Charles' personal motto is taken directly from the Godfather movies: "It's not personal, It's business." He was known as taking the motto to the extreme. He was a self made millionare and invested wisely. Passing a large portfolio on to his grandchildren when he passed along with the rights to the team ownership.
Maggie is the deceased wife of Charles Swan and Bella, Emmett and Alice's Grandmother. Bella spent many a summer living with her grandparents after she and her mom moved to Washington.
Charles (Charlie) Swan, Jr.
Charlie was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He married his college sweetheart, Renee Higginbotham, at age twenty-three. They had one daughter, Isabella. Charlie worked for the Cubs organization and was being prepped to take over ownership of the organization. He unfortunately was killed in a boating accident in Lake Michigan during the year 2000.
