Carlisle attended medical school at Northwestern and did extensive Orthopaedic Surgery training at Northwestern Medical Center. He was hired by the Chicago Cubs as the team specialist. This is where he first met his wife, Esme Swan-Cullen. Carlisle continues to serve as the Chief Team Orthopedist.
Esme is the daughter of Charles, Sr and Maggie Swan. She was born and raised in Chicago. She is married to Carlisle and they have two children, Emmett and Alice. Esme works as a top interior designer in the city.
Emmett is the son of Carlisle and Esme Cullen. He currently serves as co-owner of the Chicago Cubs organization. He did his studies at Northwestern University majoring in Sports Management. He is currently engaged to the Cubs Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Rosalie Hale.
Alice is the daughter of Carlisle and Esme Cullen. She attended The Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago double majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Marketing and Management. She is currently working as a senior buyer for Bloomingdale's, but hopes to one day own her own clothing line and boutique. Alice is known amongst her family as having an almost clairvoyant sixth sense. She is currently dating Sports Agent, Jasper Whitlock.
